Patrick Hanlin is an award-winning writer, producer, filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist living and working in the Boston area.
Patrick’s composed and produced music and film with organizations like Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper, the NBA and MLB, House of Blues Charitable Foundation, NPR, Life is Good company, and Northeastern University. He’s been awarded a Boston Music Award and eleven nominations, and has won other awards like the International Songwriting Competition, American Songwriting Awards and an impressive three Grand Prize wins in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. 33 of Patrick’s productions have hit the top on Sirius X/M’s charts, with many hitting #1.
As a Vic-Firth endorsed drummer and multi-instrumentalist, Patrick has played shows at Mile High Stadium, Austin City Limits, SXSW, The Gorge Ampitheatre, Dunkin Donuts Arena, Comcast Center, Tiger Stadium, and opened for bands like Dropkick Murpheys, The Roots, Dillinger Escape Plan, Dave Matthews, Hall & Oates, Frank Turner, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Jack Johnson. He’s recorded and produced with artists like Scott Reibling (Weezer, Letters to Cleo), Nia Ashleigh (Doja Cat), Alien Ant Farm, Peter Lalish (Lucius), and Josh Schwartz (Zac Brown Band).
Pat’s shot film for bands like Modest Mouse, Lord Huron, The Aggrolites, Phantogram, and Trampled by Turtles. Prior to launching Revival, Patrick was the music director, drummer, and keyboardist for Grammy-nominated multi-platinum artist Billy Gilman.
You can probably find Patrick drinking coffee, shopping for preamps, watching spooky movies with the wifey, or annoying his cat, Dean “Murderball” Koontz.
